FormOddity

I graduated with an architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where I learned many digital computer fabrication techniques that have greatly influenced my work. In architecture most time is spent in the digital and I found myself wanting to reconnect with tangible objects that you could hold in your hand. The merging of digital techniques with fashion inspired me to create this 3d printed jewelry line.

After undergrad, I worked as an architectural designer in various architecture firms in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. After recently graduating with a master degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, where I gained a penchant for complex forms and textures, as well as advanced computer modeling, I discovered I had a love of small object design yet again. I love to experiment with animation and cutting edge fabrication techniques ranging from laser cut, CNC and 3d printing. This is how FormOddity was born.

My designs incorporate my design thesis and aesthetic. Each piece is designed as an architectural concept scaled down that you can wear. I 3d print bracelets, rings and earrings from steel, bronze and nylon plastics. I also incorporate some laser cut steel pieces with delicate designs which supplement the 3d prints. This shop is an idea I've been working on for years and I'm so excited to finally launch my new collection!
